The original Marc Jacobs for men was probably the best aftershave ever but they stopped making it and replaced it with cat piss.
Issey Miyake is the only one I like now...and I don't really buy aftershave and I've never bothered with perfume for "men"

Calvin Kline Man gets positive responses from people, although I like Hugo boss personally. For a cheapieI like the Paul smith fragrances, although they don't seem to last long.

The wife bought me some Sauvage (Christian Dior) last Christmas, at least I can smell like Jonny Depp she said!! I will say though it's the most people have asked me about what aftershave I'm wearing Also Roger & Gallet Jean-Marie Farina Eau De Cologne is still a favourite of mine, nice old fashioned smell.

Versace The Dreamer Spicebomb Dior Sauvage Buberry Touch
Still love the old Joop but it's too well known and I don't like it when people can always tell what I'm wearing. Same goes for One Million - it's great but just a shame that every Tom, Dick and Harry wears it.

I think you girls are confused by the difference between aftershave, eau de toilet and perfume..
On a daily basis I use a Diesel edt which is quite light and has a citrus fragrance, and a Armando Code at weekends which is darker and has a caramel fragrance.

Creed Aventus, i've had more comments about that than all other smellies put together. I also really like Gucci Guilty.

I refuse to wear aftershave for one very clear reason. Namely the marketing that inevitably follows smellies and is used to justify the ridiculously high prices and mark up. Do you really wanna pay for Johnny Depp to need to get out in the desert and start digging it up for some reason? Or Keira Knightly driving through an empty Vienna on a motorbike for some reason? Or Gerard Butler telling us he's the man of today, whatever that means? After all, aren't we all men of today whether we buy his overpriced horsepiss or not??
